FYJC Mumbai.11thadmission.net Website Up Again

FYJC 11th admission website up again, 1 lakh students fill Part 2 form in a day

MUMBAI: After the mumbai.11thadmission.net website was shutdown for a day to fix the glitches of slow servers, over one lakh students for admission in first-year junior college (FYJC) were able to fill Part II of their 11th online admission form on Thursday. More than 2.3 lakh students have already registered for 11th admissions and 1.7 lakh have completed the form-filling exercise.

The Mumbai online FYJC 11th admission portal was shut on Wednesday with regard to many complaints from parents and students that the mumbai.11thadmission.net server was too slow and they were unable to complete Part 2 form application. B B Chavan, deputy director of education, Mumbai said, "The software company behind the website, Nysa Asia, has been able to detect and rectify the technical problem. The website mumbai.11thadmission.net began around 9am on Thursday and since then no complaints have been received."

Before the mumbai.11thadmission.net portal was shut, only around 75,000 students managed to complete the part 2 of form-filling process. Till 6pm on Thursday, over 1 lakh students had registered. Ruchik Jain, a Goregaon resident said, "We login at the website mumbai.11thadmission.net and were able to complete the Part 2 of form-filling exercise almost immediately. As we are from Surat, I rushed to the guidance centre for approval."

Education department officials said that the records of SSC students who received additional marks for arts, culture and sports has been updated by the board. As per Chavan, deadline could not be extended for filling up forms. "Around 2.3 lakh students had filled up forms last year and now 2.3 lakh students have already registered this year. Around 50,000 students are yet to fill up the part 2 of forms but they still have four more days. So, it seems that most students will be able to fill up the Part 2 form of 11th admission mumbai. A review would be undertaken of the site's performance and then would be decided if an extension is to be given or not.
